Odometer: 08193

Engine: 1500cc H4 (single-port)

Trans.: 4-spd Manual (transaxle)

The perfect Halloween vehicle!! Orange/Black color combo with the Gothic window shape! ‘Tish and Gomez costumes not included.

Beettle Auto Haus, Inc. was a small company in Vancouver, WA that produced the Beettle bodies from the late 60's into the late 90's. Due to Volkswagen America disputing the use of "Beettle" (even with the different spelling), the company name changed to Autosport International, Inc. in 1984. The dune buggy body was advertised in old dune buggy magazines as the Tall Timber buggy.

This "Beettle" Dune Buggy body rides on a 1967 Volkswagen pan with ball-joint front suspension and swing-arm rear suspension. The 1500cc single-port engine runs well and the transmission shifts freely through all the gears. It steers and stops very well also. A steering brake setup has been added to the park-brake handle to add to the fun of driving this gem.

The buggy has been garage kept, and it shows almost like new. The fiberglass is whole and solid with no cracks or chips anywhere. The orange paintwork shines bright and attracts immediate attention. The top is in great shape with clear plastic windows. The interior has no tears, and the material is still soft.

Overall, this "Beettle" Dune Buggy is in excellent condition and is just waiting for a new owner to "jump-in" and take her out for an old-school, fun blast on the beach.
