1990 Ford Thunderbird Super Coupe
VIN: 1FABP64RXLH154663
Odometer:193241
Engine: 3.8L V6 with Super Charger
Trans.: 5-spd Manual
Drive: Independent rear suspension
This is the 35th Anniversary edition of the legendary T-Bird. These were limited production "Super Coupe" vehicles with less than 3400 manufactured, overall, in 1990. The 5-spd manual option was a small fraction of that quantity and is estimated to be only about 750. Of those, about 150 were exported to Canada where this car was originally delivered to.
At the time, these 10th generation T-birds shared a commonality with the Corvette as the only American cars having an independent rear suspension (IRS) drive system. These were some of the sportiest T-birds while retaining the comfortable ride of a bigger coupe.
This T-bird is powered by a Super Charged, 3.8L, V6 engine mated to a Mazda built 5-spd manual transmission. These deliver power to the independent rear suspension, and all of it seems to work very well.
This T-bird has it all... Power windows, seats, and mirrors... Leather upholstery... Power Moon roof. All of them function properly.
The black exterior is in good condition with the assorted knicks and scratches that come with a 34-year-old vehicle. The silver and blue trim are a nice quiet accent that denotes the SC model.
This vehicle runs and drives nicely, shows well, and appears to have been well maintained. It is showing some age though and could use a little TLC.
